COVID-19 Lessons Learned independent review project
The BC Wedding & Event Industry Association is participating in the COVID-19 Lessons Learned independent review project. The review project is being conducted by an independent team consisting of Chris Trumpy, Bob de Faye and Dan Perrin
The review was announced by Hon. Mike Farnsworth, Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General on March 16, 2022 and the Terms of Reference for the review can be accessed by clicking here. The purpose of the review is to learn from what went well and what could have been improved in the BC government’s response to the pandemic to be better prepared for the next pandemic or other event.
As part of the review, the project team will engage broadly with stakeholders affected by the government’s response, including those with an interest in the industry and business sectors.
